I've been blogging since March, 2006, with my blogs changing as the seasons of my life did. In the beginning, I was a homeschooling mom of 2, on the path to adopt more children, and my blog, Heart for Home and Orphans, reflected those passions. As my children finished high school and our hoped-for adoption fell through, my blog focus changed to a home decorating theme, with an occasional classic film review thrown in. In February, 2011, I took the plunge and started a blog devoted solely to classic films, and for awhile, I kept up with two blogs; alas, it's time-consuming enough to maintain one, so I abandoned the decorating blog and focused my energies on this one. My seven years of blogging have brought many wonderful people into my life, some of whom have become incredibly dear friends.
While I currently live in Boise, Idaho, and consider it a nice place to live, my real home is Florida. Living in a land-locked state and having cold winters has been beyond difficult to get used to. You can take the girl out of the South, but you can't take the South out of the girl!

Don't change your address book, as that is the one I use for personal email...this one is more for blogging-related things.)

I know that there are many wonderful blogs out there in blogland; I know, also, that there is so little time to read them all. Therefore, I am truly humbled that you took the time to stop by my little place in the blogosphere. I hope your visit was enjoyable.
